Some Women Travel to See The World.

Others Travel To Finally See Themselves.

BEING ABROAD
Exists For That Reason

The Purpose

Being Abroad Private social is not simply travel—it’s becoming.

It exists to create space for women to experience the world from a grounded, self-aware place; to slow down enough to hear themselves again; and to explore life beyond familiar roles and expectations. Through intentional travel experiences, private gatherings, and shared presence, the Society supports women in expanding their perspective, reconnecting with their identity, and living with greater freedom and wholeness.

This is about crossing thresholds—internally and externally—and allowing expansion to happen naturally.

Who It’s For

Being Abroad is for the woman entering a new season of life—the one who has lived, carried responsibility, and navigated real transitions.

She is 40+, seasoned by motherhood, marriage, leadership, loss, caregiving, or rebuilding. she's no longer interested in rushing, performing, or escaping her life. Instead, she feels a quiet readiness for expansion—traveling, experiencing, and gathering in ways that reflect who she is now, not who she once had to be.

This is for the woman who values presence over pressure, depth over noise, and meaningful connection over surface-level experiences.

WOMEN CHANGE THEIR LIVES MORE AFTER TRAVEL THAN THERAPY

Therapy works with words, travel works with direct experience. Breaking the illusion that your current life is the only one possible.

Therapy explains who you are. Travel shows who you could be.

Travel adds uncertainty, but in a controlled way. Forcing you to explore and discover something new.

New streets, languages, food and faces forces the brain out of autopilot. The nervous system can't rely on old scripts.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR LIFE BEHIND

MEET THE VERSION OF YOURSELF THAT CAN'T SURFACE UNTIL YOU SLOW DOWN LONG ENOUGH TO LIVE.
